My surroundings in North Wales are the initial inspiration for my work which investigates light, shade and shadows created in landscape.

 
Using a limited palette of paynes grey and white, I study the effect of tones and perspective to create a sense of haunting mystery and dark corners to provoke memories and varied associations in the viewer, trying to get that sense of the

present tense, that sense of eternity being in every moment.

I studied Graphic Design at Coleg Llandrillo and graduated in Fine Art in 2008 and have been developing this style of painting since that time.

 
Solo exhibitions have included the Oriel Scala, Prestatyn, Theatr Clwyd, Mold and Oriel Ger-y-Fenai, LlanfairPG exhibiting also in group exhibitions throughout the

North Wales area.
