Katy Bott has been painting in North Wales since 2019.  

 

She is more or less self-taught, having attended a short introductory community course that revealed the possibilities of various media.  

 

In her previous life as a Garden Designer, she made connections between the built and natural environments, organising outdoor space to a given brief.  Now moved to be creative on her own terms, she focusses on her immediate surroundings in the Carneddau and the North Wales coast.  

 

Working mainly in acrylic paint, she has developed a style that explores the power of colour to express more than the purely visual.
