I have been painting and drawing all my life and still find it an exciting and rewarding way of life. 

I enjoy exploring ways to combine 2D flat pattern with 3D realism - a fusion between mark making and skilled technique.

 

I have exhibited extensively throughout my life, most notably Royal Society of Portrait Painters 2023 at The Mall, BP Portrait Award at the National Portrait Gallery.  I was awarded 3rd place at the SAA Artist of the year 2024, and finalist 2021'23.

 

Teaching drawing and painting to adults is ongoing.
