Barry learnt documentary film-making at the London School of Film Technique in the days when you could do such things.

Over the years, he's worked in different fields, and now finds himself on the North Wales coast with a digital stills camera and the same inquisitive soul.

'Wales isn't just about mountains and seascapes, beautiful though they are. It's also about people and events and happenings that only happen once.

Beyond the Search for Beauty, there's also the beauty of the every day - the light shining through a piece of glassware, the colours shining in the clouds, the sombre calm of low tide on the Dee.  

 

Always, there is the light that transforms everything it meets.... light that is constantly changing, constantly transforming. Ultimately, it's always about the light'.
