I trained at The Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art in Oxford.

I am interested in perception and how the brain processes visual information.
I use oils on canvas with brush or pallet knife.

Colour and the relationship between hue and tone interests me as well as curves and edges where two colours meet.

At Art School my main influence was Paul Cezanne - “The Father of Modern Painting”.
Recent work is more influenced by Picasso and 20th century Modernists.
