Born in Birmingham in 1965, Nigel Glaze earned a First Class B.A. (Hons) from Falmouth School of Art (1982–1985) and an M.A. in Art Psychotherapy from St Albans School of Art. His clinical background profoundly influences his evocative artwork.

A Royal Cambrian Academy member, Nigel has exhibited widely across the UK, including the National Portrait Gallery, Mall Galleries, and Wales' Oriel Lockdown. He is represented by Crickhowell Gallery and regularly leads workshops and talks.

In summer 2025, he won his heat in the Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in London, reaching the semi-finals.

 

His work belongs to numerous UK private collections.
