Penny studied Art & photography at Wrexham Art College then Graphic
Design at Newport Art College, Gwent.

Following a complete change in career (as a scientist!) Penny returned
to painting during the Covid pandemic, creating expressive feline and
canine characters in acrylic, inspired by her own pets and those of friends.

Alongside these contemporary, whitty characterful pieces, she paints
traditional watercolour landscapes and detailed pencil drawings,
reflecting her appreciation of the natural world.

Working across a variety of media, Penny combines technical skill with a
playful imagination, creating whimsical animal portraits and illustrative
scenes that celebrate the charm and individuality of her subjects.
