Originally trained as a printmaker, Susie specialised in large installations using all manner of mediums from ceramics to historic photographic methods ,paint, print and drawing.

Whilst nowadays she mainly paints, the attraction to all ways of making art has continued to influence her. Her paintings will often include acrylics, oils, encaustic, drawing and collage.

A found object or anything that makes a mark might become part of a painting, whilst the world around her visually, emotionally and historically is her never ending source of inspiration
